Why Has My Withdrawal Not Arrived?

Why Has My Withdrawal Not Arrived?

I. Withdrawal Status Description (4 Stages)

Withdrawals typically go through the following 4 statuses in sequential order: 【Withdrawal Application】→【Pending】→【Processing】→【Completed】

1. Withdrawal Application / Pending

When the withdrawal details page shows "Withdrawal Application" or "Pending", it means the withdrawal application has been submitted but not yet broadcast to the blockchain, and is still in the system queue or undergoing risk control verification.

This process usually takes a few minutes. If it takes longer, it is mostly caused by a large number of current withdrawal requests or system security checks. The system processes applications in the order they are submitted. JPMorgan JPMS customer service cannot intervene in the processing order, please wait patiently.

2. Processing

When the status shows "Processing", it means the on-chain transfer of funds has been initiated, and the transaction needs to be packaged and confirmed by blockchain miners, and reach the "block confirmations" required by the corresponding network (the minimum block confirmation requirements vary for different currencies/networks).

The arrival time is affected by the gas fee level and network congestion, with no fixed standard. It is recommended to continuously monitor the block status through the Transaction Hash (TxID).

3. Completed

When the status shows "Completed", it means the withdrawal has been successfully broadcast to the blockchain (JPMorgan JPMS has fulfilled all its obligations). The assets have been transferred from the JPMorgan JPMS wallet to the blockchain network, and the subsequent arrival depends on the credit confirmation of the receiving platform/wallet (JPMorgan JPMS cannot intervene in the on-chain process and the receiving party's crediting process).

II. Check Your Current Withdrawal Status

Please first confirm the withdrawal status through the following path to accurately locate the problem:

Path: 【Wallet】→【Assets】→【Withdraw Digital Assets】→ Click 【Transaction History】/【Withdrawal Records】on the page to view the status details of the corresponding order (including key information such as TxID and addresses).

III. Common Scenarios and Solutions for Unreceived Withdrawals

Scenario 1: Status is 【Completed】, but the funds have not arrived at the receiving end

This status means the assets have been successfully broadcast to the blockchain (JPMorgan JPMS has completed the transfer operation). The failure to receive the funds is mostly due to the receiving party not completing the credit confirmation. The specific processing methods are as follows:First, query the on-chain status in the corresponding blockchain explorer through the "Transaction Hash (TxID)":If the blockchain shows "Confirmed" (reaching the block confirmations required by the currency/network): Contact the customer service of the receiving platform/wallet, provide the TxID, withdrawal address, and receiving address, explain that "the transaction is confirmed on-chain but not credited", and ask the other party to check the crediting mechanism (such as whether the address matches, whether manual crediting is required, and whether the system is under maintenance).
If the blockchain shows "Unconfirmed": It is most likely that miners have not prioritized packaging the transaction due to network congestion or low gas fees. Just continue to wait (do not submit repeated withdrawals to avoid duplicate transfer of assets).

Special note on "Reversal to the Original Account":

If the receiving party cannot credit the funds due to "incorrect address, unsupported format, network incompatibility, system maintenance" and other reasons, the receiving party must actively initiate the return operation (blockchain transactions are irreversible, and the platform cannot actively cancel or return assets that have been broadcast to the blockchain).

Processing steps: ① Contact the receiving party's customer service and provide the TxID to confirm whether the return has been initiated; ② If the other party confirms the return has been sent, obtain the "TxID of the return transaction"; ③ Contact the customer service of this platform, provide the return TxID and the original withdrawal order number, to assist in querying the on-chain records and crediting status (the arrival time of the return transaction is affected by network congestion, please wait patiently).

Scenario 2: Status is 【Processing】, with no update for a long time

Under normal circumstances, the "Processing" status lasts from a few minutes to a few hours. If it has not been updated to "Completed" for more than 24 hours, the processing methods are as follows:

First, obtain the TxID from the order details page and query whether there is an on-chain record in the blockchain explorer;

If there is no on-chain record: It may be that the system failed to initiate the on-chain broadcast. Please wait patiently for 12-24 hours (delays may occur during extreme congestion). If there is still no progress, you can contact JPMorgan JPMS customer service for verification;

If there is an on-chain record but it is unconfirmed: It is caused by low gas fees or network congestion. No operation is required, just wait for miners to package the transaction.

Scenario 3: Status is 【Withdrawal Application】/【Pending】, with no progress for a long time

In this status, the assets are still in the platform system and have not been broadcast to the blockchain. The reasons and solutions for the non-arrival are as follows:
Core reasons: ① System queuing due to excessive number of withdrawal applications; ② System security verification (such as large-value withdrawals, withdrawals after abnormal login, fund source verification); ③ Incomplete security verification of the account.

Solutions: ① If there is no abnormal prompt, no operation is required, please wait patiently for the system to process in order; ② If there is a prompt of "incomplete security verification" in the work order, the process will proceed after completing the verification; ③ If the waiting time exceeds 24 hours, you can contact JPMorgan JPMS customer service to query the queuing progress or verification status.

Scenario 4: Status shows 【Withdrawal Failed】

When the withdrawal record shows "Withdrawal Failed", it means the withdrawal was not successfully broadcast to the blockchain, and neither the account assets nor the handling fees will be deducted. The processing methods are as follows:

First, check the failure prompt (such as "Incorrect address", "Insufficient balance", "Network maintenance", "The currency does not support withdrawal on this network"), and fix the problem accordingly (such as verifying the format of the receiving address, replenishing the account balance, changing to a supported network, waiting for the end of maintenance);
Re-initiate the withdrawal operation after fixing the problem; if it fails multiple times without a clear prompt, contact JPMorgan JPMS customer service to verify the account status or system restrictions.

Scenario 5: Account triggered risk control rules and T+N time limit restrictions

If the withdrawal status is stuck at "Pending" or "Failed" for a long time without a queuing prompt, the processing methods are as follows:

This restriction is automatically triggered by the platform's security risk control mechanism (such as large-value fund inflows and outflows in the account in a short period, cross-regional/abnormal IP login, pending account security information verification, association with high-risk accounts, anti-money laundering compliance checks, etc.);

Please promptly contact JPMorgan JPMS online customer service, provide the withdrawal order number and relevant identity verification materials, and apply for verification and processing;After the risk control restriction is officially lifted, re-initiate the withdrawal application (repeated withdrawals before the restriction is lifted will result in order failure).

Scenario 6: Abnormal on-chain status (no record / transaction failed)

If the withdrawal status shows "Completed", but the TxID record cannot be queried in the blockchain explorer, or the blockchain shows "Transaction Failed", the processing methods are as follows:

Take a screenshot of the withdrawal order details (including order number, withdrawal time, currency, network, receiving address);

Submit the screenshot and query results through the 【Deposit/Withdrawal】 form, and contact JPMorgan JPMS customer service for manual verification (it may be a system on-chain broadcast exception, and the platform needs to verify before re-initiating or returning the assets);

Such situations are mostly caused by system on-chain broadcast exceptions. After verification, the platform will re-initiate the withdrawal or return the assets for you (the verification cycle is usually 1-3 working days).

IV. Key Factors Affecting Withdrawal Arrival Speed

1. Miner Fee (Gas Fee)

The miner fee is the core fee to incentivize miners to package transactions. The higher the amount, the easier it is for miners to prioritize packaging the transaction. The fee level is related to transaction complexity (such as ordinary transfer, contract transfer) and network congestion, with no fixed standard. The platform usually provides three tiers of miner fee options: "Fast / Standard / Slow" according to the transaction amount.

2. Network Congestion

When the concurrent transaction volume of the blockchain network exceeds the processing limit, the miner packaging efficiency will decrease and the block confirmation time will be extended, and the withdrawal arrival speed will slow down accordingly. This is a normal network phenomenon, and you need to wait patiently for the network congestion to ease.

3. Block Confirmation Requirements

Different currencies/networks have different block confirmation requirements for "valid receipt" (e.g., BTC usually requires 6 confirmations, ETH requires 12 confirmations). Even if the blockchain shows "Packaged", the receiving platform may temporarily not credit the funds until the minimum confirmation number is reached.
